As Mom-trepreneur Michelle Vick focused on her new baby’s health and safety, she struggled to figure out what information to trust. She knew she couldn’t be the only one struggling, and she wanted to do something to help all parents get the advice and support they needed. So she and her best friend Jennifer Clary teamed up with healthcare organizations to create a trustworthy source of expert parenting information: The Baby Box Co.

We’ve worked with our advisory team of healthcare experts to develop video courses that help parents safely care for their kids. Each person who completes a course receives a Baby Box reward, like a safe sleep bag, onesie, romper, burp cloth, and other options. This concept of education with rewards has been a big hit with parents, and we’ve given out over 250,000 Baby Boxes in the U.S., U.K. and Canada. As we continue to expand our educational topics, our courses and rewards will always remain free and available to everyone.

Doug Wadleigh
CEO

Doug has an 18-year background leading global creative and business teams in Fortune 500 and startup environments. He has managed billion dollar iconic brands and diverse portfolios for companies including Mattel, Warner Bros. and Loot Crate. Now his focus is on creating new opportunities and accelerating growth for The Baby Box Co.

Jennifer Clary
Co-Founder & President

As one of our founders, Jennifer provides strategic direction for our mission. She advises our board and works with our executive team to help us achieve long-term sustainability. Before helping to create The Baby Box Co., Jennifer was a self-described “serial entrepreneur” with multiple startup launches under her belt.

Michelle Vick
Co-Founder

After learning the ropes of the entertainment industry at CAA, Michelle founded Broke Girl’s Guide, a digital media brand for budget-conscious millennial women. She expanded the audience tenfold through viral marketing, then sold the company to online network Stylehaul, allowing her to work on building The Baby Box Co.

Erica Labovitz
Chief Marketing Officer

Erica’s background in digital platforms has made her the ideal CMO for The Baby Box Co. Over 7 years at Indiegogo, she lead numerous teams including marketing and campaign strategy, helping the company become a crowdfunding hub for the film industry. Prior to that, she honed her strategic skills managing national brands for Kraft Foods.

Valerie Sapot
VP of Finance

Valerie is a financial executive with strategic and operational experience. She has a strong track record of helping companies in the early stages of development reach higher levels of performance and profitability. Before joining The Baby Box Co., Valerie lent her financial skills to the Aveda Corporation in the U.K.

Lisa Kuebelbeck
Sr Director of Business Development

Lisa is a proven executive with more than 25 years of sales and business development, working with global brands and retailers in the consumer packaged goods industry. Prior to joining The Baby Box Co, she held positions at top promotional advertising, sampling and media companies such News America Marketing, Crossmark & Instore Audio Network.
